Incoming! The #NYTransitMuseum has welcomed two R-10s and one R-16 car, escorted by an R-11, at our Downtown Brooklyn location. R-10 cars entered revenue service on the A line in 1948 and were officially retired by 1989. The two R-10s now on display at the museum represent two different periods of history through their different paint schemes: one its original grey color with an orange stripe, and the other in its 1964 World’s Fair blue-and-white livery.
