Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss is suing the NCAA after being denied a sixth year of eligibility due to insufficient medical documentation.

With Chambliss' eligibility in limbo, the Rebels signed former blue-chip quarterback recruit Deuce Knight. The former Auburn signal caller would be the projected starter for Ole Miss in 2026 if Chambliss heads to the NFL.

The Rebels also return Doak Walker Award finalist Kewan Lacy, who finished 2025 with 1,567 rushing yards on 306 carries with 24 touchdowns.
